Check&Love's commitment to the protection of minors

Check&Love is an App designed to facilitate relationships between people who know each other, respecting the privacy and security of all users.
The platform applies zero tolerance towards any content or behavior that may facilitate, promote, or pose a risk to minors.
Our policies include:

1. absolute prohibition of explicit or suggestive content involving minors;
2. active moderation of reports related to abuse or sexual exploitation;
3. immediate cooperation with law enforcement in case of serious reports;
4. accessible reporting tools to allow users to report any violations.

How to report abuse or sexual exploitation of minors

If you encounter suspicious content or behavior that may constitute abuse or sexual exploitation of minors, report it immediately through the following channels.

In the Check&Love App

You can report:

1. a specific user;
2. a specific Event;
3. general abuse.

For each report, it is necessary to:

1. select the subject “Child safety”;
2. enter your email address to allow the Check&Love staff to contact you;
3. describe the issue in detail in the dedicated text field;
4. attach an image (optional) to provide evidence for the report.

In the email, provide detailed information about what you have observed, specifying the reason for the report.

How reports are handled

All reports related to abuse and sexual exploitation of minors are treated with the highest priority by the Check&Love staff.
Verification procedure:

1. immediate analysis of the report by our staff;
2. assessment of the severity of the violation and verification of the reported content;
3. prompt actions, including:
   1. immediate blocking of the reported user or Event;
   2. involvement of the competent authorities, if necessary;
   3. response to the reporting user, when possible.

Reports are handled with the utmost respect for user privacy. However, reports submitted through the Check&Love App, while confidential, are not completely anonymous since the reporting user is registered and provides a contact email address. Reports sent via the public page, on the other hand, can be made anonymously. In some cases, additional information may be requested to facilitate further verification.

Collaboration with the competent authorities

Check&Love actively collaborates with authorities and organizations specialized in the protection of minors. In case of serious violations, reports will be forwarded to the competent law enforcement agencies, in compliance with national and international laws.
